About Pontem Sales

We built the tool we wished we had.

Created by Sales and Commercial leaders for the sole purpose of helping sales teams advance and close more deals. We build software that shapes a plan to each deal and gives leadership a clear view of pipeline velocity: how fast deals are really moving.

Pipeline Velocity

Pipeline velocity is how fast, and how steadily, deals move from first research to a signed close. It is the heart of what we build, the name PontemVelo comes from it, and everything we believe starts here.

Measure the movement

Most teams track outcomes. We track the movement behind them: steps completed against steps due, deals ageing, and deals that are busy but not moving.

One score, with its parts

A team velocity score out of 100, built from activity, execution, pipeline, momentum and results, so you can see what is pulling it down.

Analytics that lead to action

Every report and recommendation is built on the same data, with one aim: advance more deals, faster and more consistently, to a close.

Control the process

Outcomes are partly luck. How consistently you advance every deal is not.

Movement beats status

A plan that shows what has been done and what comes next replaces most of the status meetings.

Accountability, not surveillance

Managers should see progress, not keystrokes. We build for trust, not micromanagement.

Simple enough to actually use

If a tool takes longer to update than the deal takes to close, nobody opens it twice.

Our story

It started with a simple observation. Sales tools in the marketplace today are great at gathering information: who the buyer is, what the deal is worth, what was said and when. They can tell you a deal moved, but only at the macro, stage-to-stage level. They don’t account for the micro activities that actually moved it, or didn’t: the calls, the follow-ups, the steps completed.

Advancing the deal is the most important part of selling, and the part least measured. So we built PontemVelo to count what other tools miss: plan each deal around its product and stage, count real progress apart from activity, recommend the next best move as things change, and equip Managers with effective deal visibility and analytics.
